I received this in an email and rather than forward it on I figured I would share it here.
Below is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her "beauty tips." It was read at her funeral years later.
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness...
For lovely eyes , seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure , share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone...
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Helen Keller

they should easily work for all of us. thanks for the reminder.
Yes pirate, they work for a man as well. Let's just say they make a man more attractive ;)
Thanks for visiting me today. These are wonderful thoughts that would help each of us to be a little kinder to each other.
And it is good to remember "the best things in life are not things"

WOW! thanks for sharing this, it was awesome!!
I've never seen this one - it is beautiful and right on the mark.
Great words of wisdom for anyone!
THAT was beautiful! Now, if we can only learn to apply it to all our lives, what a much more wonderful place this ol' earth would be to live, eh? Hey, how ARE you?! I sent off a book of an email to you this morning...did it get there?? The reason I ask is I hit a wrong key about the time I sent it off and got disconnected from the Internet. What else is new?! So if you didn't get it, just tag me and let me know and I'll send it off again. Sheeeesh...it's rough being cyperspace-ically handicapped, lol!
P.S. Have I told you how much I love your blog?!? :-)
