I am really peeved today. Someone had the audacity to pollute my newsbox with some literature that I find very disturbing. It was a monthly newsletter put out by the KKK. In all my years of living in the South I was never insulted with such things but I move up north and look what happens. I'm hoping that they are weak and this is their way of looking for new members. Well, they are not going to find one here!!
God created us all in his image. ALL! Not some. So what color is God? God is the soft colors of
generosity,
compassion, and
forgiveness. The bright colors of
joy,
kindness, and
benevolence. The pale color of
humility and
charity. God is the color of
LOVE. Enough said.

AMEN SISTER!!!!
The Klan? You're kidding? They're still around? I knew they were big in Oregon at one time (my home state), which surprised a lot of people, but I figured, except for isolated spots in Idaho, they'd mostly vanished. I try to tell my kids that the important thing to remember about black people (or asian, hispanic, etc.) is that they are EXACTLY like white people. That's all they need to know.
and very well said!!
WOW I have never gotten one from them and I had better not.
they just said on the news last night that OH has the 2nd largest # of hate groups in America!!
What a beautiful way of describing God's love, Pat!
Happy belated anniversary, by the way!!

Yikes @ the KKK sending junk to your inbox!

I've bookmarked ya...I'll definately be back!
As far as what color my GOD is....I think he's translucent. He's like a chameleon. Forever changing and adjusting to help us feel like we fit in.
Here's a post I did a while ago...you might enjoy reading it.

You GO!
I remember when I was a teenager the local kkk had a "parade" in our town. We all came out and threw eggs. Not very grown up, but I think they got the picture.
I didn't know they were into emailing things.
I liked what you had to say about the color of God. That was cool.
