Brittany had a very nice birthday on Friday. Thank you to all of you that sent her warm wishes! I was able to throw together a quick cake for her. It's not as fancy or as creative as some that I have made but she was happy with it. (yes, there are 17 candles. I always put on one extra 'to grow on') I took her and her boyfriend and another friend to Olive Garden for dinner which was enjoyed by all. I shared my post to her that morning and she seemed to appreciate it but later she was telling her friend about it at dinner and told them that mom "copied a poem" for her on her blog. When I told her that I didn't 'copy' it but wrote it, she was at first a bit stunned. Then as she realized what it meant I think she appreciated it a bit more.
I have added another link to my sidebar. Since I have moved up here I have missed listening to my Christian music. I have not been able to find a station around here to listen to. But I have found that the station I listened to down south is now streamcast and I can listen to it on the internet. So I now have it playing when ever I get on the computer. All you have to do is click the link then that will bring you to their main page, then click on "listen live". It's that easy. Then you can close the main page and the music continues to play in the background using Windows Media or what ever media program you use.
