What would you miss?

My last post left me wondering what others miss/would miss about their home. So this post is for you to open up a little bit and share.

If you have moved away from what you called 'home' ~ what do you miss most? And if you have been lucky enough to not have to have moved away ~ what would you miss most if you did have to leave?

Family is at the top of my list followed by friends, but then it gets a little tougher picking things. Like I said, I miss the food. I also miss the scenery. Hills and mountains. I miss the climate, I love longer summers! I'm sure there's more, but I'm going to turn this over to you.....

Well, I'm only about 3 hours away from 'home' so....??

I guess what I miss is the total lack of responsibility. But I guess that is more of a 'when' not a 'where.'

Having been born and lived here for all of my almost 58 years, I'd miss all those things (family, climate, scenery, etc)
Most of all I'd miss the connection to my past and the everyday reminders of wonderful memories..

well, pat, since i only live about 6 blocks from the house i grew up in, i don't have to miss much, but, i've found a whole new happier, more fun life here, so mostly it's more about what i've gained!

What a timely question for us....since we just returned from a trip back to Montana where we lived our entire married life up until a year ago. I miss the people most of all....and of course I miss the kitchen we put in our house there, along with the real oak floors...and speaking of food, the local pizza place there has the best taco pizza we've ever had so of course we had to go there and have some : 0 )
