I will survive!

It seems “Survivor” is having a casting call in my area in the near future. Hmm….an all expense paid trip to a deserted tropical island. This may have it’s possibilities. Lets look at this point by point –
Firstly, I live with 3 hormone raged teenagers with a double dose of attitude and a husband with, what I suspect to be, undiagnosed bipolar disorder, so the other contestants will be a piece of cake.
Speaking of cake, I’m trying to loose a few extra pounds. What better way than to stick me on an island where I’ll have to hunt and forage for my food. The pounds will be falling off!
I’m a fairly simple person not used to the luxuries of life – no cable or dish, strictly local tv stations we can reach with a metal pole stuck in the sky. I have to bear the harsh elements of rain, snow and wind to get to my garage (seeing as how it is not attached). Going a few weeks without shaving my legs won’t even phase me. To look at them now you would swear I was a close relative of Sasquatch. (Hey, it’s winter and long pants will cover them up till warmer temps come around). I drink my coffee black, so I don’t have to worry about stowing away sugar packets and creamers. (There had better be coffee or we’ll just call the whole thing off NOW!) Plus, I LOVE the outdoors and camping!

So, what do you think? Now to be honest, I’ve never seen the show (I really haven’t!), but a few weeks taking it easy, not having to cook and clean, not having to worry about the kids….well, it sounds like a vacation to me!

Might you go through blog withdrawals?

I thought of that CS, but just think of the stories I'll have to tell when I get back. Not to mention the quality prayer time I would have! :)

Go for it!!! Amazing Race is the reality show I'd love to do, though.

I have never watched the show so I don't know what you have to do.

Hey, go for it. Like you said, it'll make great stories, especially if you get so hungry you start eating bugs and such.

I think since you've never seen the show, you have a REALLY good chance of getting on. They like things like that.

GO FOR IT PAT!!! Really! I think you'd do fantastic! :)
