Not much new....

Not much new going on so I haven't had much to write about. Hubby still out of work and looking. He's been able to get a few driving jobs here and there but nothing steady. I think he is still holding out that NWA and the union are going to reach an agreement, but I honestly don't see it happening. I have had a number of interviews and job offers. The one thing that makes it a bit difficult for me is that I need the hours now but come Spring and Summer of next year I want to continue working at the Golf Course. I love that job and the people. Target seems to be my best bet right now, and I like that store and think it would be fun, but I do have an interview tomorrow that I am excited about. It is with Cabela's. For those of you that don't know what Cabela's is, it is a HUGE outdoor, hunting, fishing, camping etc....store. I love it and would love to get a position there. I'm hoping the pay is right and it is flexible enough for me to do what I want next golf season. Wish me luck!

My car has finally lost the skunk smell, thank goodness! I hope that doesn't happen again. Spent the most of yesterday canning more Salsa. This time we did a HOT batch and I think it is going to taste awsome. Can't wait to try some. I do believe that was the end of all the canning. The garden is finished.....no tears here. As much as I enjoy the rewards of my hubby's hard work and green thumb, the canning and freezing can get to be a pain. But I guess it will make the salsa, relish and veggies taste that much better.

Well till something a little more exciting happens around here, I will continue reading up on everyone elses Blogs and enjoying your joy's, disappointments, funny stories and the scary ones. I suppose I should be thankful there is nothing TOO exciting to write about.....I may be asking for more than I want! LOL

Cabela's sounds like my kind of place. :) I've got you on my prayer list. Thanks for the link!

We have a Cabelas up north of us, and a new Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg. HUGE! Where were they when I lived, ate and breathed hunting and fishing? :)

Good luck to both of you!
